Customized VW Drag Truck (HW Cool Classic Series 2 - #25 of 30)

Now, it's the time for a special edition of Hot Wheels.  It's a Customized VW Drag Truck.  :D  I've been waiting for a long time to have this Volkswagen.  I got it from a facebook shopping.  Mine is a part of 2006 HW Cool Classic Series 2.

The Volkswagen Drag Truck is a modified version of the Volkswagen Drag Bus. Unlike its much more valuable brother, this one has hit the pegs more than once.  It was debuted at 2004 First Editions #101, by Designer : Phil Riehlman.

I found none information about the real version of this Hot Wheels.  Besides that, i really love the special Blue painting on it.  :)

Aston Martin One-77 (HW Exotics 5-pack)

And now another car of HW Exotics 5-pack is Aston Martin One-77. It comes with yellow color, with black stripe tampo on it.

The Aston Martin One-77 debuted as 2011 New Models 31/50 with gray color, and it is continued until now.

Origins

The names, One-77, comes from the limited run of only 77 cars.

Real Life

The Aston Martin One-77 is a two-door coupĂ© built by the British car manufacturer Aston Martin. It first appeared at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, although the car mostly (three quarters) covered by a grey pin-stripe fabric cover with only a glimpse of the front right side coyly peeping out throughout the show, before being fully revealed at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, and deliveries from the beginning of 2011, and sold for £1,150,000.
The One-77 features a full carbon fibre monocoque chassis, a handcrafted aluminium body, and a naturally aspirated 7.3 litre (7312 cc) V12 engine with 750 hp (560 kW).  The car uses a strengthened version of the DB9's 6-speed automated manual transmission and height-adjustable pushrod suspension coupled with dynamic stability control.  It will feature Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres (255/35 ZR20 front, 335/30 ZR20 rear) and Carbon Ceramic Matrix brakes.
The top speed was estimated to be 200 mph (320 km/h) but actual tests in December 2009 showed a figure of 220.007 mph (354.067 km/h), with a 0–60 mph time of approximately 3.5 seconds.  The engineering and build source of the carbon chassis and suspension system was contracted to Multimatic of Canada.  The projected weight was 1,500 kg (3,307 lb), but the production model was 1,630 kg (3,594 lb). The CO2 emissions of the One-77 are rated at 572 g/km.

  • Compression ratio 10.9:1
  • Max power 559 kW (750 bhp/760 PS)
  • Max torque 750 Nm

  • Maximum speed over 354 km/h (220 mph)

In The Movie

This car is not yet being used in a movie.  I think, it would be a perfect car for Mr.Bond. :)

Porsche 918 Spyder (HW Exotics 5-pack)

The second car of the Exotics 5-pack is Porsche 918 Spyder.  Of course, i got it along with Aston Martin V8 Vantage. I really like the blue color on it.  It's one of my favorite. :)

The Porsche 918 Spyder debuted as 2013 HW Showroom - HW All Stars, and it continues until now.

Real Life.

The Porsche 918 Spyder is a mid-engined plug-in hybrid sports car designed by Porsche.
Carrera GT + 930 Turbo = 918 Spyder.
The V-8 makes 608 horsepower, three more than in Porsche’s previous limited-edition flagship, the Carrera GT. But the 918 then adds roughly the output of another old flagship, the 930 Turbo, via two electric motors. One wedges in between the V-8 and seven-speed PDK transmission; the other sits aft of the front cargo hold. The battery pack sits low behind the passengers within the carbon-fiber monocoque. Total system output from the engine and motors sits at 887 horsepower and a maximum of 944 lb-ft of torque.  The 918 Spyder's 6.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack delivers an all-electric range of 19 km (12 mi) under EPA's five-cycle tests. This car has a top speed of around 340 km/h (210 mph).

The 918 Spyder was first shown as a concept at the 80th Geneva Motor Show in March 2010. The production version was unveiled at the September 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.  The 918 Spyder is a limited edition sports car, with 918 units manufactured and sold as a 2014 model year. Production began on September 18, 2013, with deliveries initially scheduled to begin in December 2013.  The starting price was US$847,000.  The 918 Spyder was the second plug-in hybrid car from Porsche, after the 2014 Panamera S E-Hybrid.  The 918 Spyder was sold out in December 2014. The country with the most orders was the United States with 297 units.  Production ended in June 2015.
