BMW E36 M3 Race (Blue Edition)

This is the same BMW E36 M3 Race as 2014 edition.  But now, it comes in Blue.  It is a part of 2015 HW Race - World Race.  I bought it from my friend.

Real Life

The E36 M3 debuted in February 1992 and was in the dealer's showrooms in November that year; it was the first M3 powered by a straight-six engine. The engine used is a 2,990 cc (182 cu in) S50, which produces 210 kW (282 hp).

The E36 chassis M3 was touted as one of the best handling cars of the 1990s in independent tests by Car & Driver. Known for its benign handling and balance, the car is popular amongst circuit racers and track enthusiasts. The E36 was also one of the first cars BMW designed mainly with computer aid with the use of detailed Finite Element Analysis and other software.

Racing History
In 2012, an E36 M3 driven by Daniel Merkins and Ryan Smiley of Team GotOrgans?  Competed in the Alcan 5000 Winter Rally, a rally starting in Seattle to the Arctic Circle and back, marking the first time that an M3 had competed in this gruelling motorsport event. The M3 was an unprecedented vehicle choice for this rally, however, it proved to be one of the most reliable cars competing that year, never citing a breakdown or hard start in the cold, as well as never becoming snowbound.

In The Movie

So far, i found it in this movie.

Hot Wheels Terminology / Definition

As time goes by (in collecting Hot Wheels), I think it would be useful to know terminology in Hot Wheels.  For that reason, this link would explain it.

Lamborghini Urus

Now, i'm back with another Italian car.  It's a red Lamborghini Urus.  I got it last year, in a small toy store.  There's many of it.  It's look like the HW Collector is not into it.  But, i couldn't resist it, because it's a lambo.  :)

Lamborghini Urus made the debut at Hot Wheels as a part of 2015 HW City - Street Power.

Origin

Lamborghini Urus got its name from an extinct type of large wild cattle that inhabited Europe, Asia and North Africa.  The aurochs (/ˈɔːrɒks/ or /ˈrɒks/; pl. aurochs, or rarely aurochsen, aurochses), also urus, ure (Bos primigenius), is the ancestor of domestic cattle. The species survived in Europe until the last recorded aurochs died in the Jaktorów Forest, Poland in 1627.
The appearance of the aurochs has been reconstructed from skeletal material, historical descriptions and contemporaneous depictions, such as cave paintings, engravings or Sigismund von Herberstein’s illustration. The work by Charles Hamilton Smith is a copy of a painting owned by a merchant in Augsburg, which may date to the 16th century. Scholars have proposed that Smith's illustration was based on a cattle/aurochs hybrid, or an aurochs-like breed.  The aurochs was depicted in prehistoric cave paintings and described in Julius Caesar's The Gallic War, Book 6, Ch. 28.
The aurochs was one of the largest herbivores in postglacial Europe, comparable to the wisent, the European bison.  The body mass of aurochs appears to have shown some variability. Some individuals were comparable in weight to the wisent and the banteng, reaching around 700 kg (1,500 lb), whereas those from the late-middle Pleistocene are estimated to have weighed up to 1,500 kg (3,300 lb), as much as the largest gaur (the largest extant bovid).

Real Life

The Lamborghini Urus is a concept SUV designed by Lamborghini unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show on 23 April 2012.  Lamborghini had trademarked the name "Urus" before the introduction of the Lamborghini Estoque at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, and automotive news blogs Jalopnik and Autoblog believed that the name would be applied to what was eventually found to be the Estoque.  The Lamborghini Urus SUV concept would be much lighter at about 100 kg (220 lb) than some other SUVs because of extensive usage of carbon fiber, although it is based on the same platform as the Audi Q7, Bentley EXP 9 F, Porsche Cayenne, and Volkswagen Touareg.
The Urus Super SUV will feature a 584 bhp (435 kW; 592 PS) turbocharged 5.2 liter V10 engine by Audi that includes an electric motor with plug-in capability. The Urus has a front-engine, all-wheel-drive layout. The Urus is approximately 16 feet (4.9 m) long, but only about 5.5 feet (1.7 m) high.  Top Speed Of 205 mph (328 kph).  The Urus seats four people.
Lamborghini is moving ahead with plans to put its ludicrous Urus SUV into production.  That date is 2017, according to Bloomberg.

In The Movie

The Urus is only appears in a TV Series Documentary : Jay Leno Garage => http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2059823/

Hopefully, we can see it in a movie.  Urus is a combination of speed and power.  :)

83 Chevy Silverado (1st $uper Treasure Hunt)

The next Hot Wheels is soo special.  It's a $uper Treasure Hunt '83 Chevy Silverado. :D
I got it this afternoon at a supermarket.  I'm so excited when i found it.  It's my first super treasure hunt Hot Wheels.  Of course, it comes with real rider.  It's a part of 2014 HW Offroad - HW Hot Trucks.

So, for the special one.  Here are the photos of 83 Chevy Silverado.

The '83 Chevy Silverado is a Hot Wheels casting based on the classic pick-up of the same name, debuting in the 2008 Modern Classics, by designer : Jun Imai.

Origin & Real Life

Chevrolet’s Silverado trucks started life as the C/K trucks; C was used for trucks with 2 wheel drive and K was used for trucks with 4 wheel drive. Chevy started production of the C/K trucks in 1960. These trucks had a new body design and a new designation system and were a step forward from the previous trucks offered by Chevrolet. The trucks were first made available with a range of V6 and V8 engines to choose from and as the years went by; these rather handsome trucks were upgraded from time to time by Chevy.
The name ‘Silverado’ came into the picture years later in 1975 as an optional trim available in these trucks. It is worth mentioning here that the Silverado trim level was of a high quality as far as the Chevy trucks went. This name was kept for a certain trim level for another one and a half decade after which the C/K name was replaced altogether with Silverado. In 1998 the Chevrolet Silverado truck debuted as the 1999 model and finally replaced the popular C/K series. The Silverado also came with a SS (Super Sport) version with special engine options and unique SS badges.
The Chevrolet Silverado and its mechanically identical cousin, the GMC Sierra is a series of full-size and heavy-duty pickup trucks manufactured by General Motors and introduced in 1999 as the successor to the long-running Chevrolet C/K line. General Motors continues to offer a GMC-badged variant of the Chevrolet full-size pickup under the GMC Sierra name, first used in 1988 for its variant of the GMT400 platform trucks.
The Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks have been essentially the same for their entire history. The Silverado today is generally advertised as the "standard" version and is more aimed for use in agriculture, while the Sierra is aimed for industrial workers but can be ordered as a well equipped luxury truck. There are some trim and option variations as well. Early models included variations in the engine and equipment, but the present differences are slight. The 1999 redesign included different grilles and interior trim, and certain features (e.g. Quadrasteer) were included at different times on the two trucks. Chevrolet did not create a Denali equivalent for the Silverado. However, the GMC Sierra has a Denali model.
1997 was the last year the C/K Silverado Pick-Up displayed CHEVROLET on the tailgate.

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

The next Hot Wheels is Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.  I have two of it: silver and yellow.  They are part of 2014 HW City - Speed Team.

The F12 Berlinetta made the debut at Hot Wheels as 2013 HW Showroom - All Stars New Model.

Origin

Berlinetta (from Italian) is an especially sporty form of coupé. Typically a two-seater, the type may include 2+2s.  The original meaning for berlinetta in Italian is “little saloon”.

Introduced in the 1930s, the term was popularized by Ferrari in the 1950s. Maserati, Opel, Alfa Romeo, and other European car manufacturers have also used the Berlinetta label.

In North America, Chevrolet also produced a version of the Chevrolet Camaro called the Berlinetta, from 1979 to 1986. The model offered European styling touches to emphasize the interior rather than the performance of the car, which had long been the main selling point of the Camaro.

Real Life

The Ferrari F12berlinetta (also unofficially referred to as the F12 Berlinetta or the F12) is a front mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive grand tourer produced by Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari. The F12berlinetta, debuted at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, replaces the 599 series grand tourers.  The naturally aspirated 6.3 litre Ferrari V12 engine in the F12berlinetta has won the International Engine of the Year Awards 2013 in the Best Performance category and Best Engine above 4.0 litres. The F12berlinetta was named "The Supercar of the Year 2012" by car magazine Top Gear.
In 2014, it was awarded the XXIII Premio Compasso d'oro ADI. Accepting the award was Ferrari’s Senior Vice President of Design, Flavio Manzoni.

STATISTICS :
- Direct-injection 6262 cc 65° V12 Engine.
- Maximum Power : 545 KW(740 CV) @8250 RPM
- Maximum Speed : over 211 mph (340 km/h)
- Acceleration 0-100km/h : 3.1 sec
- Acceleration 0-200km/h : 8.5 sec

In The Movies

This F12 Berlinetta has never been used in a movie.
But, you can imagine how great would the movie be if you see this picture. :)

Mazda RX-7

It's been a while since my last post.
Now, we'll talk about a yellow Mazda RX-7.  It's a part of 2014 HW City.  I got it at a supermarket, easy catch. :D
Mazda RX-7 made the debut at Hot Wheels as 2012 New Models by Designer: Jun Imai.  He is really the advocate at Mattel, pushing for the inclusion of old school Japanese cars in the Hot Wheels lineup.

Real Life

The Mazda RX-7 is a sports car produced by the Japanese automaker Mazda from 1978 to 2002. The original RX-7 featured a 1,146 cc (69.9 cu in) engine. The RX-7 replaced the RX-3 (both were sold in Japan as the Savanna).

The original RX-7 was a sports car with pop-up headlamps. It was offered as a two-seat coupé, with optional "occasional" rear seats in Japan, Australia, the United States, and other parts of the world. The rear seats were initially marketed as a dealer-installed option for the North American markets.

First Generation / Series 1 (1978–1980) is commonly referred to as the "SA22C" from the first alphanumerics of the vehicle identification number. In Japan it was introduced in March 1978, replacing the Savanna RX-3, and joined Mazda's only other remaining rotary engine powered products, called the Mazda Cosmo which was a two-door luxury coupe, and the Mazda Luce luxury sedan.

The lead designer at Mazda was Matasaburo Maeda, whose son Ikuo would go on to design the Mazda2 and Mazda RX-8. The transition of the Savana to a sports car appearance reflected products from other Japanese manufacturers. The advantage the RX-7 had was its minimal size and weight, and the compact rotary engine installed behind the front axle, which helped balance the front to rear weight distribution, and provide a low center of gravity.
Racing versions of the first-generation RX-7 were entered at the prestigious 24 hours of Le Mans endurance race. The first outing for the car, equipped with a 13B engine, failed by less than one second to qualify in 1979. The next year, a 12A-equipped RX-7 not only qualified, it placed 21st overall. That same car did not finish in 1981, along with two more 13B cars. Those two cars were back for 1982, with one 14th place finish and another DNF. The RX-7 Le Mans effort was replaced by the 717C prototype for 1983. In 1991, Mazda made racing history becoming the first Japanese automobile manufacturer to win the 24 hours of Le Mans. The car was a 4-rotor prototype, the 787B. To this day, Mazda is still the only Japanese manufacturer to have ever won the prestigious 24-hour Le Mans race outright. Mazda is also the only manufacturer to win the 24 hours of Le Mans race using something other than a reciprocating piston engine.
