'10 Ford Shelby GT-500 Super Snake

Next one.. I'll show you a legendary car: a '10 Ford Shelby GT-500 Super Snake.  With green painted body, it's looking great!  My shelby is a part of 2013 HW Showroom - HW Asphalt Assault.  And, there is also a super treasure hunt version of this car.  I hope that i could get one. :)

The SuperSnake debuted at Hot Wheels as 2011 HW New Models.

Origin & Real Life

The Shelby Mustang is a higher performance variant of the Ford Mustang which was built by Shelby from 1965 to 1968, and from 1969 to 1970 by Ford. Following the introduction of the fifth generation Ford Mustang, the Shelby nameplate was revived in 2007 for new high performance versions of the Mustang but this time designed and built by Ford at its assembly plants.

In 1965–1966 era: it starts by the smallest and lightest of the GT 350. It often called "Cobras", which was the Ford-powered AC-based two-seat sports car also produced by Shelby American. It has the Cobra emblem, similar paint scheme, and the optional "Cobra" valve covers on many GT350s that were part of a marketing tie-in by Shelby, as well as one of his iconic symbols. All 1965–66 cars featured the K-Code 271 hp (202 kW; 275 PS) 289 cu in (4.7 L), modified to produce 306 hp (228 kW; 310 PS).  The engine was called by "Cobra hi-riser" due to its high-riser intake manifold. Beginning as a stock Mustang with a 4-speed manual and 9" live rear axle, the cars were shipped to Shelby American, where they received the high-riser manifolds, Tri-Y headers, and were given larger Ford Galaxie rear drum brakes with metallic-linings and Kelsey-Hayes front disc brakes.

The SuperSnake GT500 was born at 1967.  One (and only) 1967 Fastback was built as the "Super Snake" - a GT-500 equipped with a 427 FE GT 40 racing engine producing 650 horsepower.  The car was capable of speeds over 150 mph; hitting 170 mph during a demonstration (by Shelby himself) of Goodyear's Thunderbolt tires.  No cars other than the prototype were built due to limited interest. The car sold at Mecum's 2013 Indianapolis auction for $1.3 million.

For the 2010 model year, the Shelby Mustang GT500 was redesigned along with the base Ford Mustang. As with the 2007–09 GT500, the 2010 includes unique front and rear fascias, hood with functional vents and unique rear spoiler. The rear spoiler includes a functional Gurney flap. Along with new exterior colors, customers have the option of extending the exterior stripes onto the seats. Production was limited to 2000 units.

The 5.4 L engines's power output was increased to 540 hp (403 kW) and 510 lb·ft (691 N·m) of torque with the addition of a cold air intake similar to the 08/09 GT500KR and includes a knock sensor to protect the engine if lower octane fuel is used. The 2010 GT500's fuel efficiency increased by 2 miles per gallon.

'69 Dodge Charger Daytona (1st ZAMAC)

And... another Dodge Charger Daytona.  But now it's ZAMAC edition.  I got it from a Facebook bidding.  It's awesome!! :D

ZAMAC is an acronym for the Zinc, Aluminum, Magnesium, and Copper alloy that die-cast cars are made from.  The term "ZAMAC" is also used for an unpainted car, and or base.
ZAMAC cars have been popular among collectors for some time. In 2004, almost half of the 100 First Editions were released with the ZAMAC look--clear coat over the bare metal. This was done intentionally. The first few were released in the vending machines at a 2004 convention. These could later be found exclusive to TRU in specially marked cases. Aqua stripe on top of case opposed to the usual magenta stripe.

Custom Volkswagen Beetle

Up Next, another Volkswagen Hot Wheels Car.  It's a yellow Custom Volkswagen Beetle, with a "Moon" eyes on side.   Mine is a part of 2014 HW Workshop.  I got it at a supermarket, standard price.  I took it because it's a VW.  :)
The Custom Volkswagen Beetle is a modified version of the Volkswagen Beetle production car.  It debuted as a 2007 Ultra hot Series, by designer: Larry Wood.  Because of the split rear window in Germany, this car is called "Brezelkäfer" (Pretzelbug). The no split-window one is called "Ovalikäfer" (ovallybug).

I love collecting Volkswagen. :D

Kool Kombi (Volkswagen)

Up next, Kool Kombi.  It's a vintage car from hot wheels.  Mine is a part of 2015 HW City (Surf Patrol).  I bought it at a toy store.  There is a $uper Treasure Hunts version of this Kool Kombi.  Hope that i could find one. :)

The Volkswagen Kool Kombi, debuted as 2013 HW Showroom - Hot Trucks, is the very symbol of counterculture in the 1960s and 1970s, the Volkswagen Kombi has also become a well-loved part of West-Coast surfing culture and are world famous for their old-school charm.
The Hot Wheels casting portrays a first-generation model of the Iconic Volkswagen Kombi. The first generation Volkswagen Kombi was produced in Germany, Brazil and Australia from the 1950s up to 1967. The Hot Wheels casting shows a customized delivery variant with an open tailgate and surfboards jutting out the back. There is also a huge exhaust pipe and two small stabilizer wheels on the rear of the vehicle.

Deora II (Independence Day 4th July, Star and Stripes, Flag)

Up next, another special edition of Hot Wheels: a Deora II, with american flag tampo.  It's a part of HW 2002 Star Spangled Series #3/.  I bought it at a toy bazaar.  It's not in a blister, but it's okay because it is a rare one. :)

The 2002 Star Spangled Series consisted of the following four cars: Chrysler Pronto (originally released in the 1999 First Editions), 3-Window '34 (originally released in the 1980 Hi-Rakers), Deora II (originally released in the 2000 First Editions) and '69 El Camino (originally released in the 2000 First Editions).

The Deora II was designed by Nathan Proch. It debuted as the #5 First Edition in the 2000 Hot Wheels Mainline. The initial Deora II model was inspired by the 1964 Deora showcar and includes similar design elements that have been modernized like surf boards, a spoiler over the engine and an oval windshield. This design, like the Deora, is based on an actual production vehicle. Designer Nathan Proch used design cues taken from the rear end of a 1996 Ford Taurus station wagon. The Deora II has swoopy curves contrasting with original Deora's sharp-angled lines.

Real Life

In 2003, as part of Hot Wheels' 35th Anniversary, the Deora II was built into an actual 1:1 scale car. Hot Wheels teamed up with Chip Foose, Five Axis, Mother's, and PPG Industries to pull off this amazing Hot Wheels original design. It was also featured in the Hot Wheels Highway 35 movie.
The Deora II was inducted into the Hot Wheels Hall of Fame in 2003 at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, CA. Jay Leno drove the car to the induction with Carson Lev.

A little known fact is that the car was actually seen prior to the Hot Wheels Hall of Fame ceremony when it debuted a week earlier at SEMA. The car has also undergone modification from it's launch with KMC Wheels subbed in for the Foose One-off's that match the 1/18th scale model's and the original design of Nathan Proch.
Deora II featured in the Hot Wheels Velocity X game as a hidden car which could then be unlocked by collecting 10 gears at Turbine Sands map and played. It also appears as Car #1 in both the Highway 35 World Race series and the Hot Wheels: World Race game.
