Surf Bus

Next..  It's a white Surf Bus.  I got it along with the 5 Alarm.  I took it for the same reason as 5 Alarm.   The Red Line on wheels.  :)
My Surf Bus is a part of 2014 HW City - City Works.

The Surfin' School Bus was designed by Phil Riehlman.  It came as a 2001 HW First Editions.  It also appears in the Hot Wheels: Velocity X game, unlockable by finding the Hidden Key on top of a skyscraper in Burnout Glacier. It is notorious for being the toughest vehicle in the game, capable of withstanding many big attacks before exploding. However, with its extreme toughness also comes a horrid top speed. It is based on a GMC Old Looks bus.
Strangely, the badge on the front of the Bus bears Certain resemblance to the logo of the New Flyer Bus Company, A Canadian Bus-maker based out of the Central Canadian City of Winnipeg.

5 Alarm

This hot wheels basically a fire department car.  It's a white 5 Alarm.  Mine is a part of 2015 HW City - Rescue.  I've got it at a toy store.  I took it because of the red color on wheels.

The 5 Alarm was designed by Kevin Cao for the 2009 New Models Series. Cao thought it would be cool to take the engine off of a military tank and supercharge it to power this fantastic Hot Wheels fire engine!  With a turbine tank engine, side exhaust, and safety tools on top, this fire truck was made for fast response on and off the job.
It debuted as a part of 2009 HW New Models.  The first one is red, with white tampos, "K.Cao" letter, and number "23".

Aston Martin DBS

Next, a British car: Aston Martin DBS.  Mine is a metalflake maroon car that is a part of 2014 HW Workshop.  I've got it at a supermarket.  It looks like HW Collector is not into it.  I see many of it.  But, I couldn't resist the Bond car.  :)

The Aston Martin DBS was designed by John Violette. It was debuted as 2010 HW New Models

Origin & Real Life

The Aston Martin DBS is a GT car produced by the British manufacturer Aston Martin Lagonda Limited from 1967 to 1972. The DBS was featured in the 1969 James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service. A new version, based heavily on the Aston Martin DB9, is featured in the 2006 film Casino Royale and the 2008 film Quantum of Solace.
The DBS was intended as the successor to the Aston Martin DB6, although the two ran concurrently for three years. Powered by a straight-six engine, it was produced from 1967 until 1972, eventually being phased out in favour of the Aston Martin V8.  The DBS was intended to have a more "modern" look than the previous series of Aston models (the DB4 through DB6), and it incorporated a fastback style rear end and squared off front grille, atypical of Astons at the time, but very much then in vogue in automotive design circles of the late sixties. Trademark Aston design features, such as a bonnet scoop, knock off wire wheels, and side air vents with stainless steel brightwork were however retained. The DBS was the last Aston Martin to be built under David Brown's control.

TV Series Batmobile

Now, it's the time for Batman Hot Wheels!!  I brought you a TV Series Batmobile.   It's a part of 2014 HW City - Batman 75th Anniversary.
The 1966 TV Series Batmobile (commonly referred to as the '66 Batmobile) is a Hot Wheels casting based on the Batmobile featured on the original Batman TV series. The car was First released in 2007 as a prototype. The prototype debuted in the 2007 New Models with a ZAMAC Body.

Origin, Real Life & In The Movie

The Batmobile itself was created in the astonishingly short time of three weeks by custom car guru George Barris, who had previously purchased Lincoln's elegant 1955 "Futura" concept car. With new 1960s-style wheel arches, a few bat-like styling cues and a coat of black paint, the space-age Futura began a new life as the Dark Knight's ride.
In November 2012 Barris Kustom and George Barris announced the sale of the Batmobile at the Barrett-Jackson car show and auction held in Scottsdale, Arizona. The vehicle fetched $4.2 million on January 19, 2013

Technical specifications

  • Curb weight: 4500 lb
  • Wheelbase: 126 in
  • Length: 226 in
  • Width: 90 in
  • Height: 48 in
  • Fins: 84 in
  • Engine: 390 in³ Ford FE V-8
  • Transmission: B&M C-6 Automatic (2nd transmission)

This Batmobile's gadgets include a nose-mounted aluminum Cable Cutter Blade, Bat Ray Projector, Anti-Theft Device, Detect-a-scope, Batscope, Bat Eye Switch, Antenna Activator, Police Band Cut-In Switch, Automatic Tire Inflation Device, Remote Batcomputer—radio linked to the main Batcomputer in the Batcave, the Batphone, Emergency Bat Turn Lever, Anti-Fire Activator, Bat Smoke, Bat Photoscope, and many other Bat gadgets. If needed, the Batmobile is capable of a quick 180° "bat-turn" thanks to two rear-mounted ten-foot Deist parachutes. The main license plate seen throughout the series was 2F-3567 (1966). Some changes were made during the run of the series, including different license plates (TP-3567; BT-1), removal of the Futura steering wheel and substitution with a 1958 Edsel steering wheel, and the addition of extra gadgets such as a net in the trunk, remote-controlled driving, a rear-facing camera under the turbine exhaust port, and the Bat Ram.

Other devices included:
  • Emergency Bat-turn Lever (releases the Batmobile's parachute that enables quick turns)
  • Bat-ray (capable of many tasks, such as remotely opening quarry's vehicle doors)
  • Automatic fire extinguisher
  • Mobile Batcomputer (in trunk)

Nissan 370Z

This time, i want to show you Nissan GT-R sibling.  It's a red Nissan 370Z, with a Greddy tampo.  My Nissan 370Z is a part of 2014 HW Workshop - Performance.
Nissan 370Z is a sport car debuted in Hot Wheels 2010 New Models, succeeding Nissan 350Z.

Origin

The Nissan 370Z (known as the Fairlady Z Z34 in Japan) is a sports car manufactured by Nissan Motors.

The name "Fairlady" was given to the new sports car line by Mr. Katsuji Kawamata, President Of Nissan Motors Japan, after he attended the Broadway Musical "My Fair Lady" while visiting the US in 1958. He felt that the name would invoke an image of beauty for the car - because people would think of the beauty of the music and the leading lady in that Broadway Musical.

Mr. Yutaka Katayama, then President of Nissan Motors USA, knew that his customers would not accept the name "Fairlady" for a Sports Car in the USA, so the Sales and Marketing departments in the US had used the cars model numbers for the most part, in advertising and sales promotion, and with the introduction of the new models for 1965 the badging on the front fenders was changed, on the US cars, from "Fairlady" to "Datsun 1600".
When the new S30 "Fairlady Z" was designed and built for the US Market (as the HLS30) - Mr. Katayama suggested that it not be badged as the "Fairlady' in the US. Mr. K. thought that the car should be named something more aggressive, like "Tiger" or "Shark" in keeping with US cultural traditions and values. That idea having been turned down in Japan, he was willing to accept "Datsun 240-Z". The 240 was a shortened version of the 2400cc engine displacement, and the "Z", which had been the new car's product file designation within Nissan's Design Department.

Mr. Teiichi Hara, General Manager of Design Department No. 2, had given the original sports car plans the file designation "Type Z", as most all of the other characters in the roman alphabet had been previously used. (It is supposed that the roman alphabet is used in Japan for alphabetic filing systems ie. alphabetical order.) -Z-

So, when it comes to Nissan 370Z, it means that 370 is a shortened version of 3700cc.

Trust Company Ltd. is a Japanese automotive aftermarket company specialising in performance tuning parts for cars. The company is widely known for its subbrand of tuning parts GReddy and the turbochargers under this brand.

Real Life

Nissan 370Z was announced on October 29, 2008 and was first shown at an event in Los Angeles ahead of the 2008 Greater LA Auto Show, before being officially unveiled at the show itself. The 370Z is the sixth-generation of the Nissan Z-car line, succeeding the 350Z.
Almost every piece and component of the 370Z has been redesigned from the previous model (350Z). It is powered by the VQ37VHR 3.7 L (230 cu in) DOHCV6 with Variable Valve and Lift Control and produces 332 bhp (248 kW; 337 PS).  Power delivery to the rear wheels comes through a new 7-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters or 6-speed manual transmission which features the world's first synchronized down/up shift rev-matching system, SynchroRev Match.

Compared to the 350Z, the 370Z has a wheelbase 4 in (100 mm) shorter at 100.4 in (2,550 mm) and an overall length 2.7 in (69 mm) shorter at 167.1 in (4,240 mm). The overall width has been increased by 1.3 in (33 mm), the rear track by 2.2 in (56 mm), and overall height reduced by 0.3 in (7.6 mm). The smaller exterior dimensions and use of more lightweight materials help reduce weight. (Although it should be noted that a 2003–2005 base model 350Z is actually lighter than the 370Z, since federally mandated safety features add weight to models produced after 2008).

Batmobile (The Brave and The Bold)

Now we talk about a Batman car again.  A Batmobile, from Batman:The Brave and The Bold edition, which  is the name of an animated television series based in part on the comic book series of the same name. It made its debut on November 14, 2008 on Cartoon Network.
It comes in Metalflake Dark Blue color, and a part of 2015 HW City - Batman.  I got it in a supermarket.  It's nice to have another Batman Hot Wheels. :)
The Batmobile (The Brave And The Bold) made the debut at Hot Wheels as a part of 2010 HW New Models.

Origin

The Batmobile is the key form of transportation used by Batman in his war against crime. In this incarnation the Batmoblie has a unique application - a triple changer function which features The Batplane, The Batboat, Batcycle and an exoskeleton robotic Bat-Bot suit.

As a cutting piece of technology developed by Bruce Wayne's company Wayne Enterprises, the Batmobile was used by the Caped Crusader in his crime fighting career. Batman has used the Batmobile for so many years that it has become almost synonymous with the Dark Knight himself.

In The Movie

The Batmobile was first seen in its Batplane form during the episode "Terror on Dinosaur Island".

Subaru Impreza

Now, we talk about a blue Subaru Impreza.  This Hot Wheels looks good with racing tampo on it.  I bought it from my friend. This car is a part of 2014 HW Off Road - Road Rally.
Subaru Impreza made the debut as a part of  2004 WRC World Rally Line.  So, it has made 11 years history at Hot Wheels.

Origin & Real Life

Subaru Impreza is a compact automobile, manufactured since 1992 by Subaru—the automobile division of Japanese transportation conglomerate, Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI). Subaru introduced the Impreza as a replacement for the Leone, with the Leone's EA series engines replaced by the newer EJ series versions.
Introduced on March 1, 1993, the Impreza was offered in either front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) versions and as a four-door sedan or five-door hatchback. According to a Motor Trend article written March 1992 on page 26, the name of Subaru's new compact was, initially, to be called the Loyale, displaying an official photograph of the four-door sedan. In late 1995, a two-door coupe was introduced in Japan. The Impreza, like many Subaru-built cars, was equipped with a flat engine, a distinguishing Subaru characteristic.

Since the third generation series, some markets have adopted the abbreviated Subaru WRX name for these high-performance variants. The first three generations of Impreza in North America were also available with an off-road appearance package titled Subaru Outback Sport. For the fourth generation, this appearance package became known as the Subaru XV, and is sold internationally.
There have been seven noted versions of the WRX dating back from Subaru's original World Rally Cross staging vehicles. Subaru adopted the name "WRX" to stand for "World Rally eXperimental" (in some places WRX stands for "World Rally Cross") as all WRX versions (1992 to present) feature rally inspired technology, including all wheel drive, stiffened suspensions and turbocharged four cylinder engines. The STI versions were marketed with consecutive numbers. Another way to determine the version of a WRX was to look at the chassis code. All WRX sold between 1992 and 2000 have the beginning chassis code of GC8 sedan or GF8 hatchback; this is followed by a letter from A to G. Coupe versions share the "GC" code with sedans, except in the US, where they have a separate chassis code of "GM".

Dodge Charger Drift HWPD

The next Hot Wheels is Dodge Charger Drift.  I bought this car at a little toy store near my home.  The red line on wheels looks so nice.

Real Life

The Dodge Charger Drift Car is a vehicle from the Formula Drift racing series. This vehicle was campaigned by Nuformz Racing's Shaun Carlson and Driven by 2 time champion Samuel Hubinette. This car was design by former Hot Wheels Designer Eric Tscherne.  The car's build is featured in "Drift: The Sideways Craze" a documentary on drifting. You can clearly see Tscherne's drawing in the show.
